I am a tutor who can help with many math subjects, including elementary math skills, pre-algebra, all levels of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. I can also help with reading, essay editing, and grammar and mechanics. I am comfortable helping students with all levels of Spanish, too.I understand that every student learns in their own unique way. I enjoy finding different ways to teach subjects to meet each of my students' learning needs. I have learned that students who have difficulty with one topic don't necessarily lack the ability to learn it. Sometimes the struggle is simply that they are only being taught in the traditional manner. My goal is to offer my students a lesson plan that is tailored to their learning needs. I also believe in encouraging students and providing them with affirmation that they are making great strides. I look forward to helping all of the students I work with to gain confidence in the subjects they once struggled to learn.When I am not tutoring, you can find me spending time outdoors and playing the piano.
